Applications will be accepted through August 31, 2027, with the recipient announced in September 2027.

Eligibility extends to community college students, high school seniors, and GED holders who have been accepted to or are enrolled in an accredited program. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 and submit an essay of 1,000 words or fewer explaining what inspired them to help people with pain, what they have done toward that goal, and how their education will help them achieve it. An updated resume and a current unofficial transcript are also required, submitted by email.

Founded in Baltimore in 2012, Mid Atlantic Spinal Rehab & Chiropractic now has 14 chiropractors and serves patients across Baltimore City and five surrounding counties. Dr. Gulitz holds a B.S. in molecular biology from Lehigh University and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College, and he serves on the board of the Maryland Chiropractic Association.
